We at Grokto, are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. Your privacy is important to us and maintaining your trust is paramount. As part of the registration process on the web site, Grokto may collect the following personally identifiable information about you: Name including first and last name, email address, mobile phone number and contact details, Postal code, and information about the pages on the site you visit/access, the links you click on the site, the number of times you access the page and any such browsing information.

 

 

Eligibility

Services of the Site would be available to only selected geographies in India. Persons who are "incompetent to contract" within the meaning of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 including un-discharged insolvents etc. are not eligible to use the Site. If you are a minor i.e. under the age of 18 years but at least 13 years of age you may use the Site only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms of Use. If your age is below 18 years your parents or legal guardians can transact on behalf of you if they are registered users. You are prohibited from purchasing any material which is for adult consumption and the sale of which to minors is prohibited

 

 

Pricing

The Company aims to ensure that prices of all products offered for sale are true and correct. All the products listed on the Site will be sold at MRP unless otherwise specified.  However, from time to time, the prices of certain products may not be current or may be inaccurate on account of technical issues, typographical errors or incorrect product information provided to the Company by third-party sellers. In each such case, notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the Company reserves the right to cancel the order without any further liability. The prices mentioned at the time of ordering will be the prices charged on the date of the delivery.

Although prices of most of the products do not fluctuate on a daily basis but some of the commodities and fresh food prices do change on a daily basis. In case the prices are higher or lower on the date of delivery not additional charges will be collected or refunded as the case may be at the time of the delivery of the order.

 

Cancellation by Site / Customer

You as a customer can be cancel an order placed by you before the order enters the “Out for delivery” stage. For any permitted cancellations, we will initiate a refund, if any, made by you under the relevant order within approximately 48-72 hours.

Orders may be cancelled by the Company in any of the following cases: (a) if it is suspected that a customer has undertaken a fraudulent transaction, or (b) if it is suspected that a customer has undertaken a transaction which does not conform to or violates these Terms of Use/User Agreement, or (c) in case of unavailability of product(s), or (d) for any reason outside the control of the Company, including causes for delivery-related logistical difficulties. For such cancellations, the Company will initiate a refund, if any, made by you under the relevant order within 72 hours.

Further, while precautions are taken to ensure accuracy of product specifications, the details of a product as reflected on the Marketplace may be inaccurate due to technical issues, typographical errors, you shall be notified as soon as such error comes to the notice of the Company. In such an event, the Company reserves the right to cancel your order and grant credit/coupon for the value of the returned product. Such credit shall be available for use against a subsequent invoice for transactions on the Marketplace.

We will maintain a negative list of all fraudulent transactions and customers and would deny access to them or cancel any orders placed by them in future.

 

 

Delivery Guarantee

Due to a surge in orders, we have ramped up our capacity in order to serve more customers. However, during this critical period, in case of late deliveries we are sorry for the inconvenience caused and strive to give you the best shopping experience on grokto.
